Charlee Mackey

Charlee discovered her passion for film editing at age 10 and has been pursuing it ever since. Raised in Portland, Oregon, she later expanded her perspective abroad, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Filmmaking and a Master’s degree in Film Editing in England.

Having spent a decade playing Women’s Rugby, Charlee is especially drawn to stories rooted in sport—particularly women’s sports—where her lived experience brings authenticity and depth to her work. When she’s not in the edit bay, she can often be found at a Portland Thorns or Portland Fire match.

Charlee brings a confident, creative voice to every project, grounding her edits in intentional and human-centered storytelling. She has cut spots for brands including Snapchat, NCAA, Ford, Bank of America, Visa and more.
